My Last Post

Hey! Welcome back, right now I am going to talk about some interesting facts about the dilophosaurus. Dilophosaurus was a fast-moving bipedal predator that had a double crest on its head. In the movie Jurassic Park you may remember when the Dilophosaur's attack Denis Nerdy (The guy with the glasses) and they spit that poison in his eyes, well there has been no fossil evidence that it did do so. Also in the movie they made it look a lot smaller than it was in real life.
Dilophosaurus may have lived in packs, since three of the dilophosaurus fossils were found together in Arizona, USA. Dilophosaurus walked on two feet, the dilophosaurus was a really fast runner. The dilophosaurus would leave bird-like footprints behind and some fossilized just impressions of the claw-tips. The dilophosaurus had hollow bones and an S-shaped, curved neck.

Dliophosaurus Habitat

Hey, welcome back! Right now I am going to talk about the dilophosaurs habitat. Theres no exact place that scientist know where the dilophosaurus lived but they have found bones in Arizona, US, China, and North America.
Cold-blooded animals means the animals don't generally use their own energy to warm themselves. Warm-blooded animals heat themselves with energy from food, which makes them more hungry and makes them eat more. The only two warm-blooded groups are mammals and birds. Other animals such as reptiles, fish, and invertebrates, are cold-blooded.

Food

Welcome back to my blog, today I am going to talk about the different diets of dinosaurs. The main three are carnivore, herbivore, and omnivore. Carnivores are dinosaurs that only eat meat, herbivores are dinosaurs that only eat plants, and last but not lest omnivores are dinosaurs that eat both meat and plants. The Dilophosaurus is a carnivore (meat-eater) which ate smaller plant-eating dinosaurs. The Dilophosaurus also is a hunter so it goes out and hunts for the littler dinosaurus.

Just The Facts

The Dilophosaurus is about 20 feet long and 5-10 feet tall. It can weigh around 650 to 1,000 pounds. The word Dilophosaurus means"Doble chested lizard" also the Dilophosaurus is a carnivore. A cool fact about the Dilophosaurus is its code name is Dilo or Spitter. The Dilophosaurus lived in the early Jurassic period, about 201 to 189 million years ago.
The first fossil of a Dilophosaurus was found in Arizona, USA in 1940's. 3 fossils of the Dilophosaurus have been found in the USA and all of them were together in Arizona.

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog all about a dinosaur called the Dilophosaurus (di—LOH--foh—SORE—us.) If you have seen Jurassic Park then you might remember when Dennis Nedry (the guy with the glasses) got attacked by those dinosaurs that spit some weird toxic goo in his eyes. Any way that is the same kind of dinosaur that I will be talking about in this blog.
